Mr. Yoshito Hori is Chairman and CEO of Globis Group, which he founded in 1992 in Tokyo, Japan. The Group has five lines of business; Globis Management School(GMS), Globis Organization Learning(GOL), Globis Management Institute(GMI), Globis Management Bank(GMB), and Globis Capital Partners(GCP).

In December 2005, Globis Management School (GMS) has obtained a license to issue MBA from Ministry of Education and Mr. Hori became the first Dean of Graduate School of Management, Globis University. GMS was ranked among top 3 business schools in Japan by Nikkei Industrial News Paper in 2004.

He is also a founding managing partner of Globis Capital Partners (GCP), which manages 3 funds, Globis Incubation Fund (1996) Apax Globis Japan Fund (1999), and Globis Fund III (2006), with the total commitment exceeds 38bil. yen(US$360mil.). Prior to Globis, Mr. Hori worked at Sumitomo Corporation where he was in change of new business development and mergers & acquisitions activities.

Mr. Hori is a member of World Economic Forum's New Asian Leaders Executive Committee, a board member of Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives), Japan Private Equity Association, and the Harvard Business School Alumni Association. He founded the Japan Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs' Organization (YEO) in 1995 and became the first board member of YEO International in charge of YEO Asia Pacific region in 1996. He also served on the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

Mr. Hori is an author of several books including "Six Dimensions of Life", "Personal Mission Statement", "The Case-Method Approach to Strategic Entrepreneurship" and "Venture Management Revolution". He also periodically blogs on to his web site named "Views of Entrepreneurs." Mr. Hori was featured on the cover of the Wall Street Journal, on Forbes Japan and Forbes Asia as one of Japan's most successful entrepreneur.

He received a BS in Engineering from Kyoto University in 1986 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1991. He enjoys swimming, traveling, and game of"GO". Most of all, he enjoys his family with a wife and five sons.

GCP is seeking for investments in high-growth sectors such as core information technology, telecom, software, media & digital contents, retail and health care services. It aims to provide entrepreneurial companies with value added investment services based on its strong local network of Globis Group.
