At age 39, never having run a business and with no funds, she found a way to persuade investors, through business plan contests, to take a chance. Now, Ms. Ruriko Nomura is the President of Hopes Inc., a Frontier Company Aiming to Establish an Educational Consulting Field. Ruriko Nomura, President of Hopes Inc, is an entrepreneur establishing a consultancy in education, sports, and English. She coordinates and teaches courses for advancing a career and preparing for study abroad, as well as operates a school in sports, having instructed competitive gymnastics for Olympic Committee specified clubs for both Japan and the USA. Her extensive knowledge in business is based on her experience having worked in foreign affiliated financial industry and under IT related industry's top executives. A native of Tokyo, Nomura received her Bachelor of Science at Pennsylvania State University in Physical Education. She also earned her MBA and Education Masters degree from Keio Business School and Harvard University Graduate School of Education respectively.
