Topic
September’s seminar will take you to Tokyo International school to witness first-hand the entrepreneurialism and creativity to be found at one of Tokyo’s & the world’s leading international schools.

From the colorful campus design, living mission statement, relevant learning model and one student to one Mac computer program – you’ll soon realize this is no ordinary school. Much of the innovation is thanks to the schools ‘Vision Navigator’, Patrick Newell. He is almost ubiquitous in his presence at the school and now leaves the day to day running to his expert staff.  This allows him to focus on creating new visions that will ensure his students receive the best education to prepare them for a world of constant change.  “Learning is a lifetime journey which also changes with the times” says Patrick

In the first half of the seminar Patrick will share with us on how he has realized his dreams during the past 10 years, his learning model valid for any organization and vision for schools during the next 10 years. In the second half of the presentation Patrick discuss how the collaborative spirit of Wikinomics is changing how corporations, industries and communities interact as well as, a wiki he developed for International Schools Apple Network (iSan) and his upcoming collaboratively authored website.

September promises to be one of the most innovative and interesting meetings to date and one not to miss. We look forward to seeing you there.
