Personal Profile
Having first visited Japan as a high-school student and then again as a university student, Kerry has more than 25-years of experience in Japan and has run his own company for the last 15 years.
Perhaps as much as any other factor is his personal philosophy that part of the "excitement" of being an entrepreneur is in reinventing yourself and trying new businesses. As proof of this, during his time in Japan, Kerry has been involved in magazine publishing, direct marketing, the travel industry and now television. His list of accomplishments include - the first foreigner hired by Toyo Keizai Shinposha and International Director for their flagship magazine, Tokyo Business Today; the first foreigner to hold a committee chairmanship position within the Japan Direct Marketing Association; the Vice-Chairman for the Direct Marketing Committee (5-years) of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ); speaker at the US Direct Marketing Association's annual convention on five different occasions; advisor to Ogilvy & Mather Direct Advertising (Asia/Pacific); the founder and first Chairman of the Travel Industry Committee of the ACCJ and last but not least - the Executive Producer of iTV Japan since 2002.
