Dyson Japan
Dyson KK is the Japan subsidiary of the British vacuum cleaner manufacturer Dyson Limited. Dyson is the best selling vacuum cleaner in Europe, in the US and Australia. Dyson KK was established in 1998, began selling and distributing vacuum cleaners in 1999 and launched DC12, its cleaner designed specifically for Japan, in 2004. Sales this year are expected to be around 200,000 units - compared to some 20,00 per year before DC12's launch. Market share, in value terms, grew from less than 0.5% to over 11% in the 12 months since the launch of DC12

Dyson cleaners are sold in some 1800 stores throughout Japan. The company has 55 employees, including 20 area sales managers. Nikkei Business has rated Dyson top in terms of aftersales service for the past two years.
