Fujiyo Ishiguro is President & CEO of Netyear Group Corporation, a well-known start-up providing Internet consulting services. 90% of its clients are TSE listed companies including KDDI, Tokyo-Mitsubishi Bank, and GAP.
Prior to Netyear, Ishiguro was President of a US-based consulting company. She provided strategic advice regarding technology transfer and M&A to Silicon Valley startups, such as Yahoo and Netscape, as well as the large Japanese clients including Sony, NEC, Panasonic, NTT, Toshiba, and Toyota.
She is the author of several books and contributor to Japanese leading business publications including Nikkei BYTE “Fujiyo Ishiguro’s Geeks cannot sleep”. She received her MBA from Stanford University and BS in Economics from Nagoya University. She was a visiting professor for Nagoya University.

The company was first established in the US after the MBO and transferred to Japan in 1999. Netyear has about 70 employees and the sales in 2004 was over 1 billion yen.
